“I will praise God’s name in song, and glorify him with thanksgiving. This will please the LORD more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hooves.” Psalm 69: 30-31
I love this verse; it is a reminder that God loves when we communicate with him directly. He doesn’t want our material sacrifices on an altar, what He wants is our hearts. Being able to praise God and give Him thanks for what He has done for us is an important part of mindfulness. It is difficult to praise God and give thanks to Him if we are not aware of what He has done for us. Being mindful keeps us alert to His goodness.
Find a quiet place to sit and read aloud Psalm 69:30. “I will praise God’s name in song, and glorify him with thanksgiving.”
